Picked up the ‘Color Splash’ App this week, and while I’ve only had a chance to play around with it for a few minutes, it looks like it has some fun potential. The app allows you to add a splash of color (hence the name…) to an otherwise black and white photo or other piece of artwork. For whatever reason I decided to do the tree as my test run, and it ended up being a rather painstaking process. But, I like the future possibilities.

When we start a new series, we work hard at making the artwork consistent across the board. In other words, the same font/style is used for the logo, bulletin, pre-service Countdown, on-screen Scriptures, and other complementary media. Quite a bit of time has been put into creating these pieces for our Christmas series along with our upcoming Christmas at the Playhouse.
Week #4 - Spiritual Complacency. John’s facial expressions in this movie are fantastic. I’m glad I didn’t actually look at him much while we were filming.
